LetzFuel is made by a small independent studio in Luxembourg, and support goes straight to the people who write the code. No ticket queue, no bot. Most of what people write about is answered below; anything else, the form is a message away.

05 / COMMON QUESTIONS
LetzFuel shows Luxembourg’s official maximum prices for Super 95, Super 98 and diesel, as published by the state, together with station information derived from open data. Across the border, the map uses each country’s own official source: Statbel’s regulated maximum for Belgium, the French Government’s fuel-price platform for France, and Tankerkönig (the Bundeskartellamt’s MTS-K data) for Germany.
The maximum price is set nationally, so every station in Luxembourg shares it. What differs between them is the location, the opening hours and the services, not the regulated ceiling.
Tell us and we will chase it. LetzFuel does not set prices. It reads them from the official sources, so a wrong number is either a source that has not refreshed yet or something we should be reading differently.
Send the station, what LetzFuel showed, what you saw at the pump and roughly when, to contact@pixelfoundry.lu.
Alerts are created on your device from the official data, so three things need to be true: notification permission granted to LetzFuel, alerts switched on inside the app, and background refresh allowed by your operating system.
On iOS check Settings → LetzFuel → Notifications and Background App Refresh. On Android check the app’s notification settings and make sure battery optimisation is not restricting it. If all three look right and nothing arrives, write to us with your device and OS version.
Nearby stations need location permission. If you declined it, or granted it only once, LetzFuel cannot work out what is close. The map and the price list still work without it.
Grant or restore access in your device settings under LetzFuel, then reopen the app. Your location is used on the device and is never sent to Pixel Foundry.
Widgets are refreshed by the operating system on its own schedule, not on demand, so a few minutes of lag is normal. If a widget has been stale for much longer, remove it and add it again, and make sure background refresh is permitted for LetzFuel. If it persists, tell us which widget size and which platform.
No. LetzFuel has no accounts and no sign-in, which also means there is no account to delete. Everything the app keeps (your preferred fuel, tank size, alert thresholds and cached station data) lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app. The privacy policy sets out the detail.
Deleting the app removes everything LetzFuel stores, subject to whatever backup behaviour your operating system applies to app data. We hold nothing on a server, so there is nothing for us to erase on your behalf. If you would like that confirmed in writing, ask and we will send it.
Updates go out through the store you installed from, so the quickest check is your store’s update list: LetzFuel on the App Store or Google Play. A surprising share of reported problems are already fixed in a build that has not been installed yet, so it is worth checking before writing in.
English, French, German and Luxembourgish. The app follows your phone’s language automatically, and you can change it at any time in the app’s settings.
